Salvatore F. Coniglio

Salvatore F. Coniglio died on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 75.Born and raised in Trenton, and formerly of Red Bank, NJ, Mr. Coniglio has been a 50 year resident of Levittown and a member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, Fairless Hills.Mr. Coniglio spent most of his working career as a truck driver with Leaseway Transportation for 28 years and later retired as Head Custodian for the Pennsbury School District at Charles Boehm Middle School after 15 years of service.Mr. Coniglio was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed fishing at the Delaware beaches.He was a member of the Sons of Amvets Post #2 in Delaware and also Teamsters Local 469 Truck Drivers Union of Perth Amboy, NJ.Beloved husband of nearly 50 years to Angela (Colozza), Mr. Coniglio is the loving father of Carmen and his wife, Lisa of Fallsington, and his beloved granddog, "Sparky".He is the dear brother of Barbara Bevacqua of Red Bank, NJ; Frank Coniglio (Elaine) of Yardville, NJ; Lucille Koponosh (Tom) of Trenton, NJ; and Walter Coniglio (Roseanne) of Yardville, NJ.Mr. Coniglio will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews and his in-laws, Frank and Barbara Colozza of LevittownHe was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia (Seaman) and Frank Coniglio and his brother, Robert Seaman.Family and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, from 8:00 until 9:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, Fairless Hills. Interment will be held privately.
