Shirley BarnesShirley Barnes died on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. She was 84.Born and raised in Phillipsburg, NJ, daughter of late Julia Chanda, and formerly of Trenton, Shirley was a proud original Levittown homeowner.Shirley was employed with the former Two Guys in Langhorne in the Accounting Department for 15 years.She enjoyed playing bingo and trips to the Atlantic City Casinos.Shirley is the beloved wife of the late Donald W. and loving mother of the late Barry W. and Glen A. Barnes. She is survived by her devoted children, William David Barnes, Donna Galenty and her fiancé, Pete Iliff and Bruce Donald Barnes; her 7 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.Shirley will also be sadly missed by her brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Carol Krutz, several nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 12:00 until 1:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Shirley's name may be made to the Alzheimers Association - Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philladelphia, PA 19106.
