Stanley John Koryat, D.D.S.

He grew up in Bristol, Pa. and has resided in Morrisville for the past 44 years. Stanley graduated from Drexel university with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1970. He then went on to pursue a career in Dentistry. He graduated from Temple University in 1976 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery, (D.D.S.)He started his dental practice in Levittown in 1977, where he practiced for over 40 yearsuntil retirement. He also worked for over 10 years providing dental care to veterans at the Veterans hospital in Delaware.In retirement, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was passionate about his career as a Dentist. He will be remembered for his kind, caringmanner and the excellent dental care he provided to his family, friends and many patients.He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Koryat and his brother, George Koryat.Stanley was the beloved husband of JoAnne (Munyon) Koryat for 52 years, loving father ofJennifer Allen (Ralph), John Koryat, and Katie Koryat, devoted grandfather to Emily Allen, Mark Allen, Patrick Koryat, Anna Allen, and Sara Koryat, and dear brother of Christine Underkofler.Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 17, 2021, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 7:45 pm.  Interment will be held privately.  The family has requested that masks be worn.Memorial contributions in Dr. Koryat’s name may be made to Spinal Muscular Atrophy Foundation, PO Box 9214, Jackson, WY 83002 or to the American Diabetes Foundation, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, Pa. 19004.
