

Stephen M. Boyles, Sr. left this life on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Twining Village Skilled Nursing Center. He was a resident of Levittown for 48 years before moving to Langhorne in 2000 and then relocating to Twining Village in Holland in 2012.Born on June 23, 1927 to Alice J. (Andrews) and Samuel H. Boyles in New Bedford, MA, he graduated from Westport High School in 1945. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Pacific Theater during World War II.In 1950 he received a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and was employed with the Massachusetts State Farm Bureau. He moved to Levittown in 1952 and established his insurance agency in 1955. Later, he and his wife Evelyn, incorporated into Professional Insurance Brokers, Inc. and served Levittown and the surrounding area for over 40 years. He was also a licensed and registered financial planner for many years.Stephen was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Fallsington since 1955 and was a licensed lay reader and Vicar's Warden for many years. He joined the Masonic Order in Massachusetts in 1949 and demitted to the Fairless Hills Lodge #776 F & A.M. in 1954. He also held a 32nd Degree with the Scottish Rite Consistory and was a member of the Shriner's International for over 55 years.Stephen was very civic minded and served as a president of many organizations including the Levittown Optimist Club, Levittown Exchange Club, Levittown/Bristol Kiwanis Club and the Middletown Republican Club. He was also on the Executive Committee of the Bucks County Republicans.Steve was a sincere, loving and compassionate husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family.Steve is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Evelyn; his children, Karen L. Brown and her husband, Thomas J., Jr., Eileen J. Taylor and her husband, Robert G., Stephen M. Boyles Jr. and his wife, Sandra, and Susan G. Hepp and her husband George F., Jr.; 10 grandchildren, R. Brian, Douglas and Gregory Taylor, Thomas J. III and Christopher Brown, Mary, Sarah, Michael and Timothy Boyles, and Victoria Hepp; 5 great grandchildren, Owen, Annabelle, Austin and Brady Taylor, and Thomas J. Brown IV.Family and friends are invited to call from 10 until 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 24 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 9 Old Locust Road, Fallsington, PA 19054 where his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment is private.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church or the Alzheimers Association - Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
