

Thomas Campbell, BSN; RN, Thomas Campbell, of Philadelphia died suddenly on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. He was 25. Tom was a life long resident of the northeast section of Philadelphia. He was a 2005 graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School and a 2010 graduate of Temple University. Tom was the loving son of Paula M. (nee Gilligan) (John Witmer) and Joseph M. Campbell (Marie) and was the brother of Timothy. He was the beloved grandson of Margaret and the late William Gilligan and Joseph J. (Mary) Campbell. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Despite of what life threw at him, Tom's motto was to "live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you, dance in the rain and smile until your face hurts". Tom enjoyed life, especially summers in Sea Isle, NJ, "no shower" Happy Hour at the O.D., Polar Bear Plunge, and the "Running of the Santa's". Go-Go Gadget will miss Tom, their #1 fan. Tom's family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff at St. Christopher's Hospital. Relatives, friends and fellow employees of Albert Einstein Medical Center are invited to call Friday, 6-9 p.m. and Saturday., 8:30-10 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Phila. His funeral mass will be celebrated Sat., 10:30 a.m. at St. Katherine of Siena Church. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
