Thomas J. Padden

Thomas J. Padden Thomas J. Padden died on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was 85. Born in Glenside, he was a 1944 graduate of North Catholic High and continued his education at LaSalle University. Throughout his career, Mr. Padden spent many years as a marketing manager at Ford Aerospace and RCA. Mr. Padden served in the US Navy during World War II and was discharged on July 4, 1946. He enjoyed swimming, golf and tennis. Mr. Padden will be remembered as a loving father and Pop Pop. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth, his bride, Mr. Padden is survived by his 6 children; Kevin J. (LuAnn) of Belle Meade, NJ, Thomas J. of Havertown, Brian J. of Arlington, VA, Barbara A. of Yardley, Maureen Mitchell (Richard) of Levittown and Eileen Bloniarz of Langhorne and his 11 grandchildren; Ilanna, Larissa, Jason, Kyle, Elizabeth, Nicole, Allison, John, Garrett, Everett and Maverick; and many friends and relatives who will dearly miss him. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, 9:00 until 10:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Rite of Committal will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Macular Degeneration Association, PO Box 20256, Sarasota, FL 34276.
