Vincent Stephen Sturkey

Vincent Stephen Sturkey, of Bristol, died on Thursday, April 1, 2010. He was 49. Born in Abington, Vincent has been a life long Lower Bucks County resident and was a 1979 graduate of Delhaas High School. He was a "jack of all trades" and enjoyed repairing anything mechanical. He was an avid fisherman and will be remembered as a good hearted man who would do anything for anyone. Vincent was the loving father of Vincent Stephen Sturkey Jr. He was the beloved son of Thomas E. and Barbara M. (Mooney) Sturkey of Bristol. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Thomas E. Sturkey Jr. and his wife Vicki of Levittown; David A. Sturkey and his wife Kimberly of Levittown; Deborah A. Candelore and her husband David A. of Cape May Court House, NJ; Donna M. Morrisey and her fianc Ted Garofolo of Philadelphia, Denise L. Batchelder and her husband Louis P. of Levittown, Carol L. McDonald and her husband Martin J. of Solebury and Michelle L. Geier and her husband Craig W. of W. Bristol. He will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where the family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Interment is private.
