Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mr. O'Neill was a 1973 graduate of North Catholic High School.
Mr. O'Neill spent most of his career working for Newark Electronics, but his greatest passion was coaching bowling at Levittown and Bristol Pike Lanes.
In addition to coaching bowling, Bill enjoyed going to Las Vegas and playing video poker and the slot machines in Atlantic City and at Parx Casino. Mostly, he loved to spend time with his four grandchildren and watch his son Bill bowl professionally on the PBA Tour.
Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann for 38 years, Mr. O'Neill was the loving father of Todd O'Neill (Caroline) and Bill O'Neill (Christi) and devoted grandfather of Gavin, Camryn, Avery and William "Liam" O'Neill.
Bill was the brother of Eileen O'Reilly and the late Charles O'Neill and uncle of Christine, Ryan and Courtney Widmann; Timmy, Bobby and CJ O'Neill; Christine Thomas and Kathleen O'Reilly. He will also be missed by his cousin and best friend, Jack O'Neill.
A viewing for William will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 225 Bellevue Ave, Penndel, Pennsylvania 19047. A burial will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, 1215 Super Highway, Langhorne, Pennsylvania 19047.
