Auburn- Arthur Lizotte Jr. 81 of Chestnut St. Lewiston died Friday March 9, 2018 with his loving family at his side, at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice. He was born in Lewiston on July 3, 1936 a son of the late Arthur and Rose (Asselin) Lizotte Sr. He was educated in local schools.
Arthur married his true love, the former Lorraine Merrow on March 7, 1959, they settled n Lewiston to raise their family and celebrated over 50 amazing years of marriage until she passed on August 18, 2012. Arthur was a very hard worker, working for Hahnel Brothers, Knapp Shoe, Snows Tires, Merrow’s Insulation and Buerhaus Insulation.
He was a former parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Lewiston, and was a member of The Past Time Club. He enjoyed playing cards, cribbage doing puzzles, woodworking, watching wrestling and collecting coins. Most of all he loved to harass his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and was known as Pepere to many.
Arthur is survived by his three children Debra-Ann Lake and companion Martin Nadeau of Lewiston, Norman Lizotte and wife Emily of Mechanic Falls and Donna Lizotte and wife Melissa Benner of Greene, two sisters Dorothy Chasse and husband Bertrand of Auburn, and Betty Provost and husband Roland of Auburn, 9 grandchildren: Jennifer Johnson, Maureen Lake, Kimberly Travaglini, Ryan Lizotte, Brittany Parker, Shelby, Lily, Daisy and Noah Lizotte, step grandchildren Grady, Oliver and Olivia Allen.
Great Grandchildren: Mariah, Kooper and Caleb Johnson, Adelaide Lake, Matteo, Luciano and Natalia Travaglini, Zayden and Abrielle Bardier, Kenzlee Parker and Zoey Lizotte, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Michael Lizotte in 2014 and three brothers William Omar and Maurice Lizotte.

Visitation Fortin Lewiston Monday 10 AM – 12 PM. Funeral will follow at the funeral home at 12 PM. Committal will be at St. Peter's Cemetery.
