

LEWISTON- Benjamin Harrison Foster, 79, of Lisbon Falls, Maine passed away of complications from pneumonia on August 20, 2024. Ben was born and raised in Lisbon Falls, Maine, attended Lisbon Falls elementary schools, graduated from Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield, ME, then received a degree in Business Administration from Thomas College in Waterville, Maine. He had a career at LL Bean as a quality control manager for footwear and enjoyed traveling extensively for his work. He then moved on to work in production quality control at International Paper is Auburn, Maine. Time with family and friends was what Ben loved best, with skiing at Sugarloaf or fishing the many lakes of Maine also high on the list.
Ben was preceded in death by his mother and father, Carolyn and Harrison Foster of Lisbon Falls. He is survived by his wife Ellen Clark Foster of Lisbon Falls; daughter Sara Foster Daigle, her husband Brian Daigle and daughter Kayla Daigle of Lisbon Falls, and siblings George Foster and Nancy Foster-Wolf of Lisbon Falls.
The family would like to especially thank the staffs of Russell Park Rehabilitation and Living Center, and Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston for their care and compassion.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 4-7 PM. Memorial services honoring Benjamin’s life will be celebrated on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home.
