Constance Pelchat

Mesa AZ. Constance P. Pelchat 71, formerly of Lewiston, died Saturday January 26, 2013 at Banner Hospice in Mesa AZ with her loving family at her side. She was born in Lewiston on March 8, 1941 a daughter of the late Reneau and Eva (Langlois) Galipeau. She was educated in local schools and graduated from Edward Little High School. Constance married the love of her life Raymond E. Pelchat, on August 26, 1961, he predeceased her in 2004. She worked for many years at New England Telephone as an operator. She was a member of Holy Family Church. Constance was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards, knitting, crossword puzzles, watching sports and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed for her huge heart and always willing to help anyone, her stories, her fun nature and ability to always make you laugh. She leaves a daughter Susan Collentro and her husband Jeffrey Schoeb of Chandler AZ, a son Marc Pelchat of Wales WI, a daughter in law Kate Pelchat of Wales WI, a son in law Jim Collentro of Mesa, AZ, a sister Joan Deorsey and husband Stan of Monmouth, six grandchildren: Nicholas Collentro and wife Valerie of Queen Creek AZ, Eric Collentro of Mesa AZ, Amanda Collentro of Mesa AZ, Andrew Collentro of Chandler AZ, Molly Pelchat of Wales WI, and Mathieu Pelchat of Wales WI. She was predeceased a brother Paul Galipeau.

Visitation Fortin Lewiston, Saturday 9-11 AM. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at Holy Family Church. Committal will be at St. Peter's Cemetery. A service of The Fortin Group Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services 70 Horton St. Lewiston 784-4584.
