This is my grandfather. His stories were the best. He took me driving as a teenager and spent hours on the road with me. I was working at the time and he wouldn't let me pay for gas, he told me he was happy to see me and get to know me as I became an adult. He even let me drive his Mercedes for my test and NOBODY got to drive his Mercedes. He taught me generosity even when you have little to give - anything is worthwhile with good intentions. He taught me resourcefulness with what you have and that new isn't always better. I will miss him forever. Love you Grampa.

Though I have never met Dave I'm quite sure he was a very good man I've known Dave junior very well for about 40 years and know his dad taught him some of the most important things in life like helping others when needed and never asking for anything in return. And being thoughtful of others I'm sure he will be sadly missed by all who new him

My heartfelt condolences to Judy and the whole family.
David was truly a jack of all trades,  he was the definition of one. I've seen him fix everything.
It didn’t matter if it was a tractor trailer or a lawn tractor.
He has helped me so many times over the years.  He helped me replace a blown
Intake manifold gasket on my car, fixed my boat motor and so much more, he even pulled my car out
of the snowbank when I got too cocky on their road (lol) without ever asking anything of me. Ever!
“I'm gonna miss you old man” Your son-in-law.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Dave but if he was anything like his sister Nancy then I know I would have loved him. My condolences to his wife, and to Nancy and all those who loved him.

David is my brother and Godfather who saved my life 3 times. The memory i'ld like to share, I was attempting to return a raft to the Gagnons dock. The wind picked up and before I knew I was headed down "Deadmans river". I started screaming his name. He got me facing the right direction and then it became easy. And I returned the raft to the Gagnons pier.
