Dennis George Blasens

It is with profound sadness that we announce our beloved Dennis G. Blasens departed this life too early on April 10, 2026 in Brunswick, Maine. Dennis had a kind, loving heart. He was cherished by family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His kindness, warmth, and unwavering spirit touched many lives.Dennis was always willing to give help to anyone who needed it in any possible way. This loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather-to-be will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Born on September 27th, 1964, Dennis lived a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful contributions. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy for 25 years and was married to his wife, Michele, for 35 years. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother Emily J. Lude Blasens, brother David Wayne Blasens, nephew Joseph Blasens, and sister-in-law Sherry Blasens. Dennis is survived by his wife Michele Blasens; son Nicholas A. Blasens and his wife Kathryn Blasens who is expecting Dennis’ first granddaughter Phoebe; son Francis A. Blasens and his wife Alana Blasens; father Richard Blasens and mom Gini Blasens; brother Richard Blasens and his wife Susan;niece Megan and her husband Josh; and niece Ashley Blasens; who will all continue Dennis’ legacy and honor his memory.

Military Honors will take place at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery Graveside, Section H, 163 Mount Vernon Avenue, Augusta, ME on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 10AM. A Visitation will take place following Military Honors at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, ME from 11:30AM to 1:00PM, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1PM.
