Diane Alfonsetti (born 5/14/49) passed away peacefully on Thursday 11/11/21 after a long illness. She is survived by Richard Alfonsetti and their sons Daniel and his wife Helene and David and his wife Candice, and grandsons Daniel, Joseph, and Richard. Diane is also survived by her brothers Dominic and Tony Lisi and by her sisters Sylvia, Rosie, Carolyn, and several nieces and nephews.
She was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. She later moved to Wilmington, North Carolina and finally settled in Auburn, Maine.
She was a loving and caring person and a very talented artist. She was like a mom to all of the kids in the neighborhood. She would take them in and help them with any problem they may have.
She was a caregiver at various nursing homes and a server at the Marriott and the Cavalry Club. She was a devoted animal lover. In her later years she spent all of her time with her grandchildren. They were her life. She is so Loved and will be very much missed.
Our family would like to thank the staff at Ledgewood Manor and Hospice Care for the compassionate care that she received during her time with them. Services will be private.
