Gaetan Albert Theriault

He was born in Notre Dame du lac, P.Q Canada on October 13, 1953 the son of the late Girard and Rita (Michaud) Theriault and was a resident of Sabattus for most of his life.

He was employed as a sheet metal worker and later in life worked as a Project Engineer till the end of his career.

Gaetan was a man determined to do his best for others, always ready to give a helping hand. He enjoyed time with family, traveling, hiking, white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking, camping, and campfires. He was a man that was always on the go and enjoyed doing projects and being involved with his church.

He was leader in Royal Rangers. He enjoyed people and making friends. He was a man of integrity and courage. He loved the Lord God almighty with all his heart and strength.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Theriault of Sabattus; one daughter Chantal Edgecomb of Lewiston; two sons Mark Theriault of Sabattus and Joshua Theriault also of Sabattus; four grandchildren Wyatt Edgecomb, Seneca Edgecomb, Mackenzie Theriault and Zoe Theriault; five sisters Therese Theriault, Ginette Martin, Denise Theriault, Marcelle Theriault, Raymonde Rioux and her husband Marc Rioux.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his baby sister, Jeannine; a brother Jean Theriault; his son-in-law Eric Edgecomb; and his brother-in-law Al Martin.

Funeral Services honoring Gaetan's life will be celebrated on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at The Fortin & Pinette Group. Those wishing may make donations in Gaetan's memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute at www.dana-farber.org . A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27th from 6-8 PM and on Friday, March 28th from 9-11 AM prior to the service at The Fortin & Pinette Group 305 Alfred A.
