Gerald "Gerry" R. Thibodeau

He was born in Lewiston, Maine on August 16, 1969, the son of Rosaire O. Thibodeau and Jenille M. Henry.

He received his high school diploma from Lewiston High School in 1988 and was employed at The Dingley Press for over 20 years. A dedicated, hard worker, Gerry was a quiet man and enjoyed being with friends and family. Gerry was also a longtime member of the Webber Social Club in Lewiston and competitively participated in their pool leagues.

Affectionately known as “Hammer” to friends, he enjoyed playing pool, watching car racing, listening and playing music (especially classic rock/heavy metal), and riding and working on his Monte Carlo.

He is survived by his mother Jenille Thibodeau, his siblings, Paul, Diane and Denise Thibodeau (Pearson), his nephew Ryan Thibodeau, his Aunt Phyllis & Uncle Nookie Boivin, several cousins, and may longtime friends.

A Memorial Service honoring Gerry’s life will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Mausoleum at St. Peter’s Cemetery 31 Deer Road in Lewiston. A Celebration of Life is scheduled on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 11:00 AM-4:00 PM at the Webber Social Club on 957 Lisbon Street in Lewiston.
