

She was born in Lewiston, March 5, 1921 the daughter of John and Irene (Gahagan) Hartley.
Irene was a graduate of Lewiston High School and the former Bliss College. After her education, she worked as a telephone operator during World War II. Following the war, she married her Husband, Kenneth and enjoyed homemaking, her family, and dancing at the many pavilions in the local area.
She was very proud of her Irish and English heritage. She is survived by her son, Kenneth E. Rogers, Jr., and his wife Josette (Lacasse) Rogers of Lewiston.
Irene’s family cannot begin to express the caring and dignity given her by The Lamp of Lisbon and Androscoggin Hospice of Auburn.

Funeral services honoring Irene’s life will be held TUESDAY 2:00PM February 3rd at the funeral home.
Graveside committal prayers will be held later in the Spring at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
