

Paul was born in St Ignace, Canada in 1950 to Elie and Yvonne Gallant.
After graduating Lewiston High School he worked several years as a mechanic at Pontiac Center in Auburn. He then joined the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Millwrights Union where he sometimes traveled to other states working on turbines and in papermills. He was very pasionate union member serving 5 years as Business Agent and continued with the union until his retirement.
Paul Married Susan Martel on June 1, 1973 and they had 3 children Corey, Joshua and Amy. He was a devoted Grandfather to his four Grandchildren
Colby and Tatum Gallant, Cailyn and Dax Ouellette who brought him great joy.
He is survived by his wife,3 children,4 grandchildren, Brother Ben and his wife Pauline, Sister Rose (Dumont) and husband Ronald several nieces and nephews.
He was Predeceased by his twin brother Jean Guy and his mother and father.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to everyone in the SSU Unit at CMMC for the wonderful care he received.
He will be sadly missed and we will continue recording Swamp People for him!!

GALLANT died in Lewiston September 6th. Mr. Jean Paul “Paul” Gallant age 66 years a resident of Lewiston.

A Memorial gathering honoring Paul’s life will be held Friday September 15th from 6-9PM at the PINETTE DILLINGHAM & LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, 784-4023
