

She was born in Rumford, November 9, 1921 daughter of the late Arthur J. and Amarilda Dube Patenaude. She graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford where she excelled in skiing and basketball. Jeannette was married to Henri A. Labonte who predeceased her in 1979. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a teaching coordinator for 16 years at Pathways, Inc. and had previously worked at Woolworth's Five & Dime.
Jeannette was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at the Basilica of Ss. Peter and Paul, served on the Parish Council for two years and was a Jefferson Award nominee. She was also involved as a Girl Scout leader and Cub Scout Den Mother and volunteered for the Special Olympics and Habitat for Humanity. She enjoyed cross country skiing, snowshoeing, swimming, traveling, line dancing, playing pool and playing cards with her friends. She took great pride in teaching her grandchildren to swim and enjoyed riding on Harley Davidson motorcycles and participating in the annual Toy Run.
She is survived by three daughters, Muriel Hanlin and husband Richard of Sabattus, Theresa Labonte and companion Tim Burns of Wales and Faye Lashua of Auburn; four sons, John A. Labonte and wife Suzanne of Leeds, Michael Labonte of Lewiston and companion Jeannine StHilaire of Minot , James Labonte and wife Diane of Auburn and Gary Labonte of Lewiston; 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and was looking forward to three more great grandchildren later this year; two sisters, Muriel Arsenault of Roxbury and Theresa Hebert of Rumford.
She was predeceased by her husband, a granddaughter, Victoria Labonte , a great granddaughter Brielle Labonte and five brothers, George, Bert, Rudolph, Lionel and Fernand Patenaude.
