Lorette Allison

LEWISTON- Lorette Allison, 93, of 540 College Street, Lewiston died on Tuesday February 16, 2010 at Montello Manor Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. She was born in Waterville, Maine on August 30, 1916 the daughter of Odilon and Laura (Dorval) Plante. She was married to Roland Chevalire; he died in 1990. She then married Chesley E. Allison; and he died in 1993. She was a homemaker all of her life. Lorette was very active in her local church. She was an excellent cook, loved traveling, playing cards and spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons Roger Chevalier of Las Vegas, Nevada and Charles Allison of New Sharon, Maine; three grandchildren Lillian Chevalier of Las Vegas, Nevada, Debra Allison McCullough of Milford, NH. and Brenda Allison of Winchendon, MA.; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers Raoul, Gerald and Louis Phillippe Plante; and by four sisters Bernadette Chenard, Grace Russo, Lucienne Dupuis and Leatitia McKenna. A Memorial Mass honoring Lorette's life will be celebrated on Saturday 11AM at Holy Family Church.
