

AUBURN- Lorraine R. Aubut 78, of Lewiston died Friday May 22, at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice, with her loving family at her side. She was born in Lewiston on September 5, 1936 a daughter of the late Lucien and Lucia (Comeau) Drapeau. She was educated in local schools and the became a RN working many years at St. Mary’s Hospital, she also worked at Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice and was a charge nurse at Clover Manor. Nursing was her life and she truly cared for all her patients. Lorraine was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and was now attending Ss. Peter & Paul. She also was a member of The Red Hat Society, Queens Guild Sodality and always stayed in contact with her graduating nurses class. Lorraine was the most generous and loving person. She lived alone for many years and had one of the nicest yards, no matter the job she would tackle it on her own. She loved being outdoors and being with family, especially her grandchildren. She leaves a son Daniel Aubut and his wife Tracy of Buckfield, a daughter Tina Aubut of S. Portland, two sisters Loula Ouellette of Lewiston and Lilly Hill and husband John of IL, three grandchildren; Erica Poisson, Christopher Aubut and Jennifer Small.
