Lewiston- Muriel L. Grover 88, of Sabattus St. Lewiston, died Saturday January 2, 2016 at Central Maine Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was born in Auburn on July 10, 1927 a daughter of the late Louis and Helena (Beauchesne) Paradis. She was educated in local schools. Muriel worked in many local shoe shops through the years. Muriel enjoyed playing games on her computer, playing bingo, crocheting, sewing and most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons Denis Grover and wife Madelyn of Poland and Scott Grover of Lewiston, her daughter Vickie Hale and husband Robert of Leeds, 9 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son David Grover, a granddaughter Rebecca Grover, five sisters: Emeldia, Irene, Annette, Jane, Juliette and two brothers Ralph and Laureat.

Visitation Fortin Lewiston on Wednesday January 6, from 12-1 PM. Funeral service will follow at 1 PM at the funeral home, followed by committal at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
