Neal was a cherished member of the Lewiston Maine community, known for his gentle nature and hard-working spirit. His humor brought joy to those around him, and he will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Neal had a profound love for music and was an active member of a rock band, Darkraetion, with friends John Hodgkiss Sr, Michael Dupree, and Leo Deschaine. His passion, creativity, and dedication to his talents left a lasting impression on his friends and fellow musicians.
Neal is survived by his daughter, Nysa, of Lewiston, as well as a sister, Jean (Daniel) Desjardins, and three brothers, Marc (Kelley) Chartier, Gary (Billie) Chartier, and Ronald (Amy) Chartier. Neal also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.

A Visitation for Neal will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 11AM to 1PM at Fortin and Pinnette Group Funeral Home, 305 Alfred A Plourde Pkwy Lewiston, ME 04240. A Liturgy of the Word and Committal Prayers will follow at 1:30PM at St Peter's Cemetery, 217 Switzerland Rd Lewiston, ME 04240.
