

Pauline Bosse, 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21st with family by her side. She was the daughter of Alphonse and Yvette (Dumais) Biron born on June 28,1936 and raised in Auburn/Lewiston, Maine with her 11 siblings. On February 11,1956 she married the love of her life Roger Bosse, her husband of 32 years until his passing in 1988.
Pauline worked in local shoe shops, RCA, Raytheon, and lastly at Tambrands for many years until her retirement at which time she volunteered at St. Mary’s Hospital gift shop.
Pauline in her earlier years along with Roger worked tirelessly raising 4 children, ensuring they had a proper upbringing and enjoyable home life including many fond memories of summer trips to Bear Pond and Old Orchard Beach. She enjoyed the company of family and friends frequently entertaining them at her home and pool. Pauline was also a wonderful cook who gladly shared her skills with family members passing on traditional French-Canadian cuisine.
She loved to travel, taking many excursions locally and abroad with husband Roger and fiancée Richard. Her time at the coast was always special, especially when feasting on lobster, her favorite dish.
Pauline was resilient in her later years battling 3 different bouts of cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. Despite the challenges these terrible diseases brought to her daily life, she never complained about the pain or limitations they brought. Always sporting a quiet smile and gentle nod when asked how she was doing.
Pauline is survived by her children, John Bosse and wife Nancy, Michael Bosse and wife Helen, daughter Carol Pelletier and husband William; brother Donald Biron and wife Claire; grandchildren Shannon Wilding, Jessica Cote, Brad Bosse, Kyra Rawstron, Brendon Pelletier: great grandchildren Sophie, Ella, Conor, Bentley, Everett, Blake and Beckett.
Pauline was predeceased by her husband and parents, son Bryan Bosse, grandson Jared Pelletier, brothers Paul, Roger, Jerry, Normand, Richard, Robert and Roland “Lou” and sisters Del, Joanne, Claudette, fiancée Richard Palman, and many in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Association and Andwell Hospice.
Visitation at the Fortin & Pinette Group on November 7th at 11:00 followed by a 1:00 pm Mass of Christian burial at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus St., Lewiston, with committal prayers to follow at St. Peters Mausoleum in Lewiston.
