

LEWISTON - Raymond L. Beaudette, 83 a resident of 18 Brown Ave., Lewiston died early Saturday morning at Central Maine Medical Center after a long illness with family by his side. He was born in Lewiston, July 6, 1924, the son of Azarias J. and Fabiola (Filteau) Beaudette. Raymond attended Holy Cross School and was a Lewiston High School graduate. He was a World War II US Army veteran having served with the 1st Army Company Medical Corps in the European Theater. After the war, he worked for the former North American Philips and retired as a route salesman for Country Kitchen. He was a member of Holy Cross Church, Knights of Columbus Council 106, Holy Cross Senior Citizens, Lewiston Senior Citizens, and the Freedom Bowling League.He also was a member of the 65th US Army Division Reunion. Survivors include his wife the former Olivette Morin of Lewiston; two sons, Paul Beaudette and his wife, Jean of Lewiston; Dave Beaudette and his wife, Lesley of Lewiston; two daughters, Diane Bonneau and her husband, Roland of Lewiston;Joline L'Heureux and her husband, Andre Decarie of Portland; two step daughters, Carmen Laliberte and her husband, Paul of Lewiston; and Irene Weinstein of Pine Hill, New Jersey; three brothers, Richard Beaudette and his wife Connie of Brookline, NH; Gerard Beaudette of New Gloucester; and Robert Beaudette and his wife, Muriel of Billerica, MA. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Olive F. (Garneau) Beaudette who died in 1979. BEAUDETTE died in Lewiston, November 24, 2007, Mr. Raymond L. Beaudette age 83 years a resident of 18 Brown St., Lewiston. A Mass of Christian Burial honoring his life will be held TUESDAY 11:00AM at Holy Cross Church. Committal prayers with military honors to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
