

Renald Beaulieu 1938 - 2007 AUBURN - Renald ?Rey? Beaulieu of Auburn succumbed to a second fight with cancer on July 26. He was born in Lewiston, on Aug. 23, 1938, the third of five sons born to Joseph and Mabel Deslauriers Beaulieu. He graduated from Lewiston High School. As a young man, he was a member of the Army National Guard.He married Carline St.Pierre in 1957. They had three children together and lived in Lewiston until moving to New Auburn in 1968.Rey worked for many years at Pioneer Plastics prior to his most recent employment at Per Se as a computer operator. He loved his work and was a dedicated employee who was valued by his coworkers.He was an affable person - quick to smile and joke. He enjoyed singing when attending church services. He found great pleasure in teasing and tickling his two young granddaughters, Heidi and Nicole.He is survived by his granddaughters; his friend and former wife, Carline Beaulieu of Sabattus; his children and their spouses, Donna and Jean Jalbert of Otisfield, Annette and Jerry Douglass of Mechanic Falls and Joseph and Mary Beaulieu of Westbrook; and his brothers, Guy and Joseph Beaulieu.He was predeceased by his parents; an infant brother, Roger; and his brother, Raymond Beaulieu. BEAULIEU -- Renald E., 68, a resident of Auburn, died in Auburn, July 26. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial honoring his life will be held WEDNESDAY, Aug 1, at 11 a.m. at St. Philip's Church, Auburn. Burial with committal prayers to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
