He was born in Bowdoin on April 17, 1938 the son of Douglas and Janet (Ray) Crowley.
Robert worked many years for W.H. Hinman Construction Company, and later worked in roofing and siding business. He enjoyed watching Western movies and the company of he and his beloved wife’s cats. He always had a soft heart for animals, especially cats.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Violet of Lewiston, his sisters, Beverley Crowley of Poland, Sheila Cash and her husband Jake of Poland, brothers Norman of Lewiston and Dennis of Sabattus, and a special friend Roger Emery of Lewiston.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Lawrence, Gerald, and Stanley Crowley
