SOUTH PORTLAND- Rosa V. Jalbert, 101, formerly of 10 Oak Park, Lewiston died peacefully on Thursday April 16, 2009 at South Portland Nursing Home. She was born in Lewiston, Maine on January 28, 1908 the daughter of Napoleon and Anna (Laliberte) Vaillancourt. Rosa was employed for many years as a stitcher in the local textile industry until her retirement. She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church. She is survived by one daughter Trudy Cote of Old Orchard Beach, Maine; two grandchildren Jim and Chris Cote of Scarborough; and one great granddaughter Caitlyn Cote; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Emile Jalbert; eighteen sisters; and two brothers. NOTICE Jalbert- Died in South Portland Thursday April 16, 2009. Mrs. Rosa V. age 101 a resident of Lewiston. A Funeral Mass honoring Rosa's life will be celebrated on Monday 11AM at Holy Cross Church. Interment in the family lot at St. Peter's Cemetery.
