Sandra Jeanne Willette

A lifelong resident of Lewiston, she was born on November 11, 1938, to a very large family. Upon her graduation from Lewiston High School in 1957 Sandra embarked on a career at the telephone company in Lewiston. She worked alongside her sister and best friend Joan. After this, she worked for family business, namely Georgio’s and Sandy’s. Sandra found forever employment at CMMC and retired in 2003.

Her joys in life were her home and many DIY projects, crafts and gardening. A fiercely strong and independent person, Sandra always said “ I will take care of myself”; however her family was extremely important to her. Sandra had a life well lived.

Sandra is survived by her brother Michael R. Willette and his wife Pauline of Sabattus and her sister Sheila Gattuso of Syracuse, NY and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Denis & Della (Thompson) Willette and the sister of the late Delia, Lucille, Lorraine, Patricia, Gloria, Clarence “Joe”, Manza, William, George “Bud”, John “Reggie”, Roland and Dennis “Butch”.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 11 am - 1 pm at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, ME. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm at the funeral home, with committal prayers to follow at Mt Hope Cemetery, Lewiston.
