Arren Inman Smith III

LEXINGTON –Arren "Inman" Smith, 67, son of Faith Covington and A.I. Smith, II and loving husband of Nancy Smith, passed away October 11, 2014 after a two year battle with brain cancer. The relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 with a memorial service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Mount Horeb United Methodist Church, 1205 Old Cherokee Rd, Lexington, SC.

Inman is survived by his wife Nancy Smith, of Lexington, SC; daughter, Elizabeth Smith (Jason); sister, Suzanne Jordan(Whit); stepmother, Wylene Smith; stepchildren, Tracy Kiker (Todd); Todd Gary; grandchildren, Jordan Cowling, Chance and Jessica Gary, Kristen Kiker, and Caroline and Addison Smith; sister in law, Carol Shipp; and niece, Louisa Morris (Charles Hill).

Inman graduated from the University of South Carolina and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Horeb UMC General Fund and Inman Smith at GoFundMe, a fund set up to help the family with medical bills. The family would like to thank Anna Johnson and Diana Nathan of Tri-County Hospice for the wonderful, loving support Inman received during his hospice care. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Cha-pel is assisting the family with arrangements.
