She is survived by a sister Carol Gose of Lexington, SC; nieces and nephews, Cindy (Rick) Inman of Lexington, SC, David (Reatha) Cole of Lebanon, Va., Maria (John) Chisum of Huntsville, AL., Alica (Steve) White of Gettysburg, PA. and Chris (Tami) Fleenor of Bristol, Va; also 3 great-nephews; 6 great-nieces, and special friends, Sang Griner and Karen Gay Dodrill. She was preceded in death by her brother, Freddie Fleenor of Wyndale, Va., sister, Norma “Genna” Long of Lebanon, Va. and nephew, Jonathon Cole of Hendersonville, NV and a very dear friend, Vera Griner.
Miss Fleenor dedicated her life to anesthesiology. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati as a Nurse Anesthetist and practiced at the University of Cincinnati Hospital until her retirement. She left many friends in Cincinnati to move closer to family in Lexington, SC. She was an active member of Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church and the Prime Timers Sunday school class.
An informal graveside service will be held at Woodridge Memorial Park for family and friends on Friday, May 25th at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers she requested that memorials to be made to Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church, Lexington, SC.
Not till the loom are silent and the shuttles ceased to fly. Shall God unroll the canvas, and explain the reason why.
