Carl Aslund

The son of Charles Birch Aslund & Jane Isabel Darby, Carl graduated from Chester High School in 1978, then went on to University of South Carolina, earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Management Science in 1982.

Carl was an avid Angler, master Craftsman, and longtime scoutmaster at Saxe Gotha Presbyterian in Lexington, SC

Remaining to cherish Carl’s memory are wife, Janie Bickley Aslund; children, Theodore 'Ted' Darby Aslund and fiancée, Jessica Ann Nielsen, of Scranton, PA & Tyler Hunter Aslund and wife, Kelly Strogner Aslund, of Florence, SC; grandson, Caleb Joshua Aslund; brother, Charlie Birch Aslund and wife, Missy Aslund of Fuquay-Varina, NC; sisters, Catherine Paquette of Raleigh, NC & Jane and Bob Hooper of Isle of Palms, S.C; nephew, Joseph Avery Campbell; and nieces, Hannah and husband, Andy Johnson of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Rebecca Jane of West Ashley, SC, and Sarah Catherine of Isle of Palm, SC .

Preceding in death are brother, Theodore Darby Aslund; nephew, Matthew Birch Campbell; and brother in law, Raymond F. Paquette of Raleigh, NC.
