Carol Wilson Aull

CAYCE - Carol Wilson Aull, 75, of Cayce, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018. Carol was born in Macon, GA., eldest daughter of the late Lloyd and Frances Green Wilson. She was raised in Orangeburg and Chester, SC and graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Elementary Education and earned a Master’s in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina. She taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades in South Carolina and retired from Springdale Elementary School in 1995. Carol was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church and had served on the church Council and as past president of WELCA. She had also taught Sunday school and Vacation Bible School and served on the Alter Guild.

Carol is survived by her husband, William F. Aull; sister, Kathryn Runquist of Redondo Beach, CA; brothers, Jim (Mary Nell) Wilson of Chapin, SC and Frank (Beth) Wilson of Inman, SC; seven nieces and nephews and 16 great-nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:30 Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 1500 Sunset Blvd. West Columbia, SC 29169 with interment at St. Paul’s Lutheran church cemetery, Pomaria, SC. The family will receive friends after the service in the church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Our Saviour Lutheran Church or charity of one’s choice.
