Daniel V. Gunter “Danny”, 61 years of age, of Pelion, SC passed away on April 24, 2023. He was born in Richland County on January 10, 1962. Danny was the son of John “Virgil” Gunter and Marlene M. Gunter.
Danny was a proud employee of Shumpert’s IGA in Pelion, SC. Danny was a hard worker and spent most of his afternoons tending to his livestock.
He is survived by his mother, Marlene M. Gunter; sister, Sheila G. Baumgarten; children, Christian D. Gunter and Lauren A. Gunter and grandchild, Kylie M. Orr. He was predeceased by his brother, John P. Gunter “Johnny”.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Boiling Springs United Methodist Church with a reception to follow at the ministries building.
