LEXINGTON – David Russell Sargent, 76, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013.
Mr. Sargent was born in Indianapolis, IN on June 21, 1937, to the late Richard and Mary Sargent. He attended Mansfield High School in Mansfield, OH. Mr. Sargent graduated from Muskingum University in New Concord, Oh in 1958. He served in the US Army Reserves. Mr. Sargent was in the golf industry as a manufacturer representative.
Mr. Sargent is survived by his wife Carolyn Adams Sargent; daughter, Ann La Roue of Newport Richie, FL; son, Kevin Sargent of Chapel Hill, NC; step-daughter, Karen (James) Collins of Charleston, SC; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Pegie (Jerry) Cavanaugh of Sarasota, FL.
