LEXINGTON - Dorothy A. Duffy, 95, predeceased by her husband, Walter Duffy, celebrated her Christmas day in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born in New Jersey on May 26, 1922, she was raised in Brooklyn, New York, worked in the Manhattan business district with a successful career in the early days of the computer industry. She retired in Columbia, SC and is survived by her sister, E. Anita Brower and a large extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at St. Andrews Evangelical Church, pastored by Don Burnett, Jr.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to the St. Andrews Evangelical Church Missions Ministry.
Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
