LEXINGTON - A graveside service for Ethel Williams Davis, 84, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016 at St. Peters Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to the Lexington United Methodist Church Building Fund, 309 E. main St. Lexington, SC 29072.
Mrs. Davis was born June 11, 1931 in Richland County and passed away Monday, February 1, 2016. She was a daughter of the late, John D. Williams, Sr. and Annie Wooten Williams. She was a member of the Lexington United Methodist Church, the FCL Club Lake Murray, Demonstration Club, Post 7 American Legion Auxiliary and a Charter Member of Lexington Women’s Club.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis Bryant “LB” Davis, Jr.; sons, Lewis B. Davis, III (Stephanie) of Mt. Pleasant and John Michael Davis (Tracy) of Easley, SC; five grandchildren, Steven, Sam, Amy, Alex and Evan Davis. She is predeceased by her three brothers and two sisters.
Caughman-Harman Funeral Home Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
