WEST COLUMBIA – George Melvin Osborne, 83, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2011. He was born July 2, 1928 in Winchester, MA. He was the son of the late William Clarence Osborne. Mr. Osborne was a US Army Veteran and a Master Electrician.
Mr. Osborne is survived by his sons, William “Bill Osborne and George “Fred” Osborne and daughters, Charlotte Joann Griggs and Mary Louise Davis.
Inurnment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
