Georgia L. Crawford King, 73, of Pelion, SC passed away peacefully, at home, on March 20, 2021. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 25, 1947. Georgia was the daughter of the late Yvonne Wise and George Crawford, Jr.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Bonnie Lemke and husband, Lyle Lemke. Georgia loved “tramping in the woods”, fishing, playing hide and seek and ghost hunting with her grandchildren, spending time with her sons, and laughing. Georgia had many careers as a single mom with three kids. Two careers of which she was most proud were nursing and hotel management; at both, she excelled and enjoyed.
Georgia is survived by her husband, Gary King of the home; sons, Brian Crawford of Monetta, Jayson King and wife, Pat of Wagener, Christian King and wife, Patti of Pelion; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home at 11:00 am, with burial following at 115 Crim Hydrick Road, Wagener, SC 29164. Those serving as Pallbearers are Brian Crawford, Jayson King, Christian King, Pete Lemke, David Knight and Josh Duchscherer.
