
Gregory Crane, a beloved and devoted individual, passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on March 16, 1960, Gregory was a resident of Pelion, South Carolina. His life was marked by bravery, selflessness, resilience, and patience.
Gregory served his country with distinction in the Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Corporal. His dedication to his military career was a testament to his strong character and commitment to service.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marsha Burroughs Crane, and his cherished children: daughter Amanda Stiles and her husband Adam, son John David Burroughs and his wife Shannon, son Paul Seibert and his wife Johnna, son Glenn Seibert, and stepdaughter Stacy Seibert. Gregory was a proud grandfather to Kinsley, Paisley, William, John David Burroughs Jr., Calvin, Christopher, Elizabeth, Isabella, Jaylan, Wyatt, Liam, Carson, Stormy Jade, Tesla, Dakota, Athena, and Triton. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Kelyn, Halo, Hadley, Elon, Axel, Ryder, and eagerly awaited the arrival of his great-grandchild, Winter. He is also survived by his brother, Michael Crane, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Gregory was predeceased by his brother, Donald Ray Crane Jr.
Gregory cherished his time spent fishing, pheasant hunting, and being with his family and grandchildren. He had a passion for watching football and deeply loved his church family.
The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Frank Houghtaling and his wife Rhonda, the church family, MSA Hospice, and Jeff Zepp at MICU Unit at Lexington Medical Center for their support and care.
Gregory Crane will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, his community, and his country.

Pallbearers will be Michael Crane, Adam Stiles, John Burroughs, Paul Seibert, Glenn Seibert, Christopher Seibert, John Burroughs Jr., and David Law.
The family will receive friends from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Caughman Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. A funeral service will be held 3:00pm Sunday, December 14, 2025 at New Hope Baptist Church with burial to follow at Barrs Family Cemetery on Shumpert Mill Rd in Pelion, SC.
