Jordan worked at Performance Ink in Columbia, SC. He was an extremely talented guitar player who was a member of a local rock band. His love for music covered all genres from classical, country to classic rock. He loved to play family games of any kind, especially rummy with his beloved Amanda. Jordan was also an avid fisherman, he took advantage of any opportunity to cast a line. As a child, Jordan loved all types of animals, he was the master catcher of worms, frogs and anything he could find in the creek. Being the youngest of three boys, he took his role as pesky little brother very seriously. Jordan had a very sharp wit and a dry sense of humor. Those closest to him knew of his soft and sensitive side. He valued family time and was extremely thoughtful and considerate to his parents and grandparents. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Derek Thomas (Lauren) and Corey Thomas (Ivy Adair); nephew, James; his grandparents, Larry and Carolyn Owens; the love of his life, Amanda Detyens; and many other family members.
He was predeceased by multiple grandparents and his beloved Uncle, Dean Thompson.
