

Kathleen Kleckley Rawl Page, 94, passed away February 5, 2021 in North Wilkesboro, NC. She was the wife of the late Beverly Brown "B.B." Page of Lexington, SC. She was the daughter of the late Walter A. and Alma Keisler Kleckley of Lexington, SC.
She worked as a hospital accountant and was the past treasurer of the South Carolina Hospital Accountants Association. She also worked at the former Columbia Bible College in Columbia, SC within the Administration Department. Kathleen also served as a volunteer at the former Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC. Teaching high school and junior high Sunday school for 10 years was a great joy and passion. She loved her family dearly and, likewise, she was loved dearly by her family. Kathleen had a great sense of humor, passed down from her mother that made time with her always enjoyable. Her strong faith in her Lord and Savior carried her through many joyous and difficult seasons of life and her witness was an inspiration to many who knew her. After her marriage to B.B. Page, they spent 10 years working in mission hospitals in Zaire, Africa, Haiti, Korea and Thailand. Kathleen moved to The Villages of Wilkes, an assisted living facility, in 2015 and started a new season of life with new friends and a staff of caretakers that treated her with much love and kindness.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Rawl Drafts (Wane) of West Columbia, SC; son, Carl Adam Rawl Page (Brenda) of North Wilkesboro, NC and grandchildren, Deanna Drafts of Atlanta, GA, Dr. Brandon Drafts (Katie) of Columbia, SC, Traci Reddekopp (Jeff) of Travelers Rest, SC, Chelsea Page of North Wilkesboro, NC, Caroline Page of Columbia, SC and Allison Page of North Wilkesboro, NC; great grandchildren, Hannah, Leah and Connor Drafts, of Columbia, SC and Olivia Reddekopp of Travelers Rest, SC; sister, Linda K. Shaffer (Don) of Aiken, SC and sister-in-law, Marie Kleckley of Lexington, SC.
In addition to her husband and parents, Kathleen was predeceased by an infant daughter and son, James (Jim) Rawl, Jr. of Gilbert, SC; sisters, Dell K. Bouknight of West Columbia, SC, Mildred K. Porter, of Lexington, SC and brother, Rev. Voight Kleckley of Lexington, SC.
In addition to a private graveside service at Celestial Memorial Gardens, Lexington, SC, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date due to Covid restrictions and the family’s wishes for everyone to remain as safe as possible during this pandemic time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, Wounded Warriors, and Samaritan’s Purse.
