COLUMBIA – Kenneth R. “Randy” Cox, 60, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Gaston, SC after a battle with kidney cancer.
He was born on April 15, 1956 in Columbia, SC, son of Rose Cox and the late Kenneth Cox. He is survived by his mother; three sons, Joseph, Charles (Devin) and Taylor (April) Cox; and daughter, Deanne Cox. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, sister; Pamela Cox Kelly, brothers; Billy Taylor and Terry Cox, and nephews Ronnie Kelly and Gene Cox.
He attended Spring Valley High School. Randy worked in the car business most of his life and was also an electrician. He loved the gym and working out, as well as riding motorcycles and spending time with family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SCOA Cares Foundation, 166 Stoneridge Dr., Columbia, SC 29210.
The family would also like to thank special friend, Joni Cox, for her loving care during his battle.
