Larry was a lifelong resident of the community he loved and even resided on a portion of what was his grandfather’s land. He was a member of Round Hill Baptist Church and, along with brothers Loyd and Tommy, was a longtime co-owner and operator of Berley’s of Lexington.
Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, N. Faye Kyzer just a little more than five months ago; their infant son, Larry E. Kyzer Jr.; his parents; and his brothers/spouses: E. Loyd and Flossie Kyzer, Tommy and Patricia “Sis” Kyzer, Johnny Kyzer, and Ray "Midnight" and Sandy Kyzer.
He is survived by his sister-in-law Margeret Kyzer, brother-in-law J.W. (Faye) Howard and numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him with affection and miss him dearly.
Larry was a homebody and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He found joy in tending his garden, fishing and relaxing under the shed with a Budweiser in hand—a quiet ritual that brought him peace and contentment. Larry also enjoyed helping his family in any way he could.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with the service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at the graveside at Lexington Memorial Cemetery.
Memorials in his memory may be made to Round Hill Baptist Church Manna House.
