LEXINGTON – A graveside service for Lewis Bryant “LB” Davis, Jr., 89, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lexington United Methodist Church Building Fund, 309 E. Main St., Lexington, SC 29072.
Mr. Davis was born January 4, 1929 in Lexington County, SC, and passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018. He was the son of the late Neula Amick Davis Boatwright and Lewis B. Davis, Sr. He retired from SCE&G as a Line Supervisor. Mr. Davis was a member of Lexington United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge 152, SCE&G Foreman’s Club, a charter member of Pine Island Club and a former member of the Lexington Lion’s Club.
He is survived by his sons, Lewis B. Davis III (Stephanie) of Mt. Pleasant and John Michael Davis (Tracy) of Easley, SC; five grandchildren, Steven (Amy), Sam, Amy, Alex and Evan (Emeley) Davis; one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth and sister, Mary Hazelton of Lexington. He was predeceased by his wife, Ethel Williams Davis and two sisters, Elizabeth Koon and Novis Davis.
