WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Linwood “Bert” Colbert Hicks, Jr., 46, will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with interment at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in Graceland West Cemetery in Greenville, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Harris Road, Greenville, SC 29605-4277.
Mr. Hicks was born September 25, 1965 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2011. He was a son of Paige Bowlin Hicks and the late Linwood C. Hicks, Sr.
Mr. Hicks is survived by a daughter, Audrey Pelletier (Dana) of Gaston; grandson, Aiden Alexander Pelletier of Gaston; mother, Paige Bowlin Hicks of West Columbia; brothers, Bob Hicks (Stephanie) of West Columbia, Ben Hicks of Gainesville, VA; grandmother, Audrey Page Bowlin of Greenville and niece, Laken Hicks and nephew, Kaden Hicks. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Earl Bowlin and grandparents, J. Linwood and Gervais Hicks.
