LEXINGTON – A graveside service for Mandy R. Koon, 96, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church Cemetery. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Koon was born March 19, 1918 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014. She was a daughter of the late George D. Richardson and Willey L. Sites Richardson. Mrs. Koon was a member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her sons, Jerry R. Koon and Nathan D. Koon both of Lexington; three grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and sister, Sadie Ellisor of Chapin. She was predeceased by her husband, L. C. Koon and daughters, Barbara and Dianne Koon. The family would like to extend a special thank you to care giver, Carolyn Player and to Amedisys Hospice.
