LEXINGTON – Margaret Taylor Martin was born on October 12, 1924 in Winnsboro, SC. She died surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 28, 2015 in Lexington, SC. Margaret was the daughter of the late James Andrew Taylor and Sarah Merab Harmon Taylor. She leaves behind 6 children, Ann Watkins (Mike), Harry Thames (Lynn), Darlene Thames, Toni Bowman (Tom), Kelly Cordell (Jeff), Shotsy Martin (Jen) and a brother, Thomas L. Taylor. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, James H. Martin, Jr., son, James L. Thames and 7 siblings.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel.
