Mike loved to fish, especially bass fishing and hoped one day to swim with sharks. He loved collecting KISS memorabilia and leaves behind many friends who will miss him greatly. He will be remembered by his sweet, loving spirit & his Beautiful Blue Eyes.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Judy, of Lexington, SC; his father, Lawrence J. Nelson, Sr. (Catherine), Chapin, SC; his mother, Betty Nelson, Pelion SC; his brother, Lawrence J. Nelson, Jr.(Angie), Pelion SC; a nephew, John & niece Kimberly, as well as his sweet mini dachshund named Butters.
A celebration of life will be held for Michael at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the Chapel of Hope located at Southland Memorial Garden, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
