GASTON – A memorial service for Rena Smith Chisolm, 62, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday December 5, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with inurnment in Lexington Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Chisolm was born September 23, 1952, in Columbia, SC and passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014. She was the daughter of Vera Cornelle Smith and the late John Edwin Smith. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick Chisolm of Gaston; daughter, Karon Chisolm of Lexington; son, John Chisolm of Gaston; son, Joshua Chisolm and his wife, Erica of West Columbia; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; mother, Vera Cornelle Smith of Lexington and her sister, Delila Hall of Dacula, GA.
